Onitsha Business Hangout, a pro-business and socio-cultural initiative, is leading conversations on Agricultural reforms and how the ancient city of Onitsha can look beyond subsistence farming, leveraging new technology for maximum output.
The event, which is the premier event in the” Redefine Edition” series by Onitsha Business Hangout, will be held on July 5 at the Archbishop C J Patterson International Auditorium Complex. Red carpet event starts at 11:00 am, while the main events start at 1.00 pm
The event themed.” Agriculture Beyond Farming: Unlocking Value Chain in the South East will offer attendees the opportunity to share insights, network, collaborate, and strategize on how to take Agriculture to the next level.

The event sponsors include Tiger Foods, the Onitsha-based Food and Beverage Giant, Business Clinic, Agro Market Square, and Onitsha Business School. The event follows a long series of other Onitsha-themed events. These events aim to redefine the commercial city and usher in new ideas among its inhabitants.
Other initiatives by Onitsha Business Hangout include the Open Pitch Competition. It is a N25 million Grant competition targeting startups in eastern Nigeria. Previous participants in the event won up to N1 million and N500,000 in seed funds for their businesses. Open Pitch is ongoing, and applicants are encouraged to apply.
Onitsha Business Hangout is an initiative founded and floated by Ogbaji Ifeanyi, an active Onitsha resident and Social Media Influencer. OBH follows other Southeast-themed events.
