The Gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party, Dr George Moghalu, took his grassroots campaign outreach to Anyamelum Local Government Area, visiting Omasi, Umueje, Ifite Ogwari, and Igbakwu.
Moghalu received a heartfelt welcome in the communities amidst songs and praises as his campaign team intensifies its community-to-community outreach aimed at boosting the Labour Party candidate’s grassroots support.
Speaking at the Campaign outreach, Moghalu described the Anyamelum community as the agricultural powerhouse of the state. He added that the vast farmlands in Anyamelum and its experienced farmers can feed the entire southeast if properly supported with government-backed initiatives.
The Labour Party candidate pledged to unlock the full agricultural potential of the Anyamelum community with mechanized agriculture, farm-to-market roads, irrigation systems, and agro-processing industries.
Away from the peculiarities of the Anyamelum community, Moghalu renewed his recovery agenda pledge. He promised free and compulsory education for every Anambra child, free healthcare for the elderly, and monthly stipends for citizens aged 70 and above to ease their living conditions. He emphasized that governance must be about improving lives, not enriching a few.
“Every child must have access to quality education regardless of background. Our elderly who laboured for this state must not be abandoned. Their welfare will be our pride.” Moghalu stated.

Moghalu thanked the people of Anyamelum for their warm welcome and turnout to the political campaign rally.
” This campaign is not about promises; it is about purpose,” he concluded. “Together, we will recover our state, rebuild our institutions, and restore the dignity of the Anambra people.” He added
