The Gubernatorial Candidate of the Labour Party in Anambra State, Dr George Moghalu, took his campaign train to Orumba North LGA, intensifying his grassroots outreach as the Anambra election draws near.
Moghalu visited the communities of Oko, Nanka, Ufuma, and Ajalli, engaging leaders, traders, artisans, students, and community stakeholders. The former NIWA boss met a huge turnout of supporters as he pledged to restore Anambra to its glory status if elected.
Speaking during the event, Moghalu pledged to tackle challenges peculiar to the four communities, which include poor road infrastructure, erosion menace, youth unemployment, inadequate healthcare and educational facilities, and multiple taxation. He stressed that the Orumba North LGA has shown uncommon resilience in enduring these challenges following years of neglect by the Anambra government.
The Labour Party flagbearer unveiled his vision for education in the state, stating that bright and promising students will enjoy free and state-sponsored education. Speaking on Health, Moghalu promised that elderly people from 70 years and above would be taken care of by the Anambra state with state-sponsored health packages.

Speaking further on the senior citizens in Anambra, Moghalu stated that Anambra indigenes aged 70 and above would receive a monthly stipend from the state for upkeep. On security, the Labour Party man pledged to improve security drastically in the state, while putting an end to multiple taxation by state-sponsored thugs.
Dr. Moghalu called on the people of Oko, Nanka, Ufuma, and Ajalli to support and vote massively for the Labour Party, assuring them that a vote for the Labour Party is a vote to recover Anambra and take it to the next level with good governance, transparency, and development.
