The Imo state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, embarked on an inspection tour of the ongoing work at the Concorde Hilton Hotel, Owerri, while lauding imo state for maintaining its status as the hospitality hub of the eastern region.
Uzodimma reiterated the commitment of his government to delivering projects that attract visitors, inspire confidence, and stimulate investment in the state. The Concorde Hilton Hotel, Owerri, makes up a list of ongoing projects in imo’s state hospitality sector, with the promise of bringing world-class hospitality to the region.
“We have paid close attention to every detail of this world-class facility, ensuring that each phase reflects our commitment to excellence and our vision for a more vibrant economic future,” Uzodimma said.
” With the progress made so far, I am confident that once completed, the Concord Hilton Hotel will significantly boost tourism, create opportunities for our people, and contribute to sustainable development and prosperity in Imo State,” He added.
Imo state is known for a high concentration of hotels and leisure centres serving as a hub for hospitality in the eastern region. The Concorde Hilton Hotel project is a step further in upgrading the standard of hospitality in the region and introducing world-class service.
Uzodimma, in a meeting with the management of the oil companies in the state, cited the Concorde Hilton Hotel as a plausible option for the hospitality needs of their top management. The Concorde Hilton Hotel, Owerri, upon completion, will make a statement of intent by the Imo state government on its quest to adopt global standards and drive urbanisation in the southeastern state.
