Ultimum Nigeria Limited announced the completion of the first phase of its beverage manufacturing factory in Osisioma Aba.
Austin Ufomba, the CEO of Ultimum Limited, led a team of company delegates to the Abia state governor, Dr Alex Otti, informing the Governor about the development while seeking government support from his administration.
The Abia state governor described the achievement as a milestone in the state’s effort to grow its economy through industrial development. Otti disclosed that he has directed the commissioner of works to begin work on the road leading to the factory for easy transportation of finished products to the market.
He added that a good road leading to the factory will also support production and help boost the Osisioma Industrial cluster.
Otti commended the company for its decision to start the factory project, first completing the first phase before seeking government support. He stated that the move reflects the seriousness and drive of the Ultimum Team, which is very commendable.
The Governor thanked the company for believing in Abia State and choosing to bring their investment to the state, adding to the direct investments attracted by the state. He lauded the company’s vision to serve the African Market from Osisoma in Aba as ambitious and encouraging.

Speaking on Security, Governor Otti assured the company of Adequate security as Abia state remains one of the safest destinations for business in Nigeria. Otti stated that the Abia security team continues to widen its dragnet, strengthening security in the state while remaining committed to creating the right environment for businesses to thrive in the state.
Aside from the Osisioma Industrial cluster, other clusters in the state include the Aba leather and fabrics clusters. Both clusters focus on producing Shoes, Bags, belts, and fabrics in the state.
The Abia Industrial Innovation Park in Owaza focuses on diverse sectors ranging from oil and gas to logistics and energy.
