Ahead of the 2027 elections, an Abakaliki-based stakeholder group has drummed up support for the reelection bid of Francis Nwifuru, the current executive governor of the state.
The Group named Francis Frontiers based its advocacy for a second term for Francis Nwifuru on his developmental strides in the state. The group, made up of volunteer professionals, farmers, artisans, traders, Youth, and community leaders, announced their commitment to the reelection of the governor, saying one good turn deserves another.
The group said this during the unveiling of the functional project at Ebaji, headquarters of Ezza North Local Government Area of the state, on Tuesday.
“Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in our collective political journey. The official unveiling of the Ezza North arm of Francis Frontier brings together a coalition of volunteers -professionals, farmers, traders, artisans, youths, elders, and community leaders, all united by one purpose to support the continuity of purposeful leadership and good governance in Ebonyi State,” Chidi Anyigor, the group coordinator, said.
Speaking further at the event, Anyigor said the mission of the stakeholder group was clearly to galvanize support for the reelection of Francis Nwifuru, given his proven Track record.
” We believe that continuity is not just a political slogan; it is a development imperative. The great work already started must not be interrupted.” He added.
Darlington Ugota, National Patron of the group, stated that besides the advocacy for a second term for Governor Francis Nwifuru. The group also promotes good governance and positive leadership as one of its core ideals.
“Francis Frontier exists for one clear purpose: to protect and promote proven leadership. It is a platform built on unity and vision, and that is why, today, we need to remind ourselves that our friend is in our unity of purpose,” Ugota said.
