Governor Chukwuma Soludo has commenced the Anambra State Executive Council Retreat, marking the official start of the “Solution 2.0: Acceleration With Precision” agenda held at Agulu Lake Resort.
The retreat brings together members of the state executive council as the administration shifts its focus toward more disciplined, results-oriented governance. The governor said the new phase is aimed at strengthening service delivery and ensuring that government work produces clear, measurable outcomes for the people of Anambra State.
He instructed members of the Solution Team 2.0 to begin preparing their valedictory addresses ahead of March 2030 and to use that long-term expectation as a guide for planning and execution. According to him, every action in government should now be driven by urgency, discipline, and a clear sense of purpose.
The administration reiterated its mission to build a livable, prosperous, smart megacity while laying the foundation for Vision 2070. The focus, according to the retreat agenda, is on delivering projects and policies that bring real improvements to residents’ lives.
The governor added that government performance will no longer be judged by meetings or discussions, but by visible progress and results felt across the state’s communities. The ANSEC is the decision-making body of the Anambra State government.
It holds occasional meetings to approve projects, review ongoing projects, and deliberate on matters of statewide importance. The governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, chairs the committee, alongside members of his cabinet.
The ANSEC meetings are usually followed by a memo and press briefings to newsmen on the latest developments following the just-concluded meeting. Every State in Nigeria has a State Executive Council, and weekly or monthly meetings are commonplace in these states.
