The Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, is currently in the United States to engage the Anambra diaspora community and present his scorecard on his four years at the helm of affairs of the state.
Mr Christian Aburime, the Anambra State Press Secretary, released an official statement describing the US engagement with the Anambra diaspora as part of the governor’s North American tour to engage Anambra citizens on developments and showcase his scorecard for the past four years.
“This is not a campaign stop,” Aburime clarified. “It is another chapter in the governor’s ongoing effort to deepen participatory governance by bringing the Diaspora community into the conversation. Governor Soludo believes governance is a continuous contract with the people—not a seasonal obligation triggered by election cycles,” he said
Aburime noted that the Governor’s approach differs from his counterparts, who are now in full campaign mode. He pointed out that contestants of the November 8 Anambra elections are making political statements and promises in contrast to Soludo’s verifiable results.

The ongoing North American tour by the governor mirrors similar engagements in Lagos, Abuja, and the United Kingdom earlier in the year. The nature of these engagements has been interactive, with the governor sharing his achievements and receiving feedback from the diaspora community.
Governor Soludo is proving that transparency and performance should always trump political theatrics,” Aburime said. “He is showing what it means to be a statesman and visionary leader—governing with a long-term focus, rather than chasing short-term electoral gains.”
The Souldo administration is noted for its Solution Agenda, which aims to usher in development in all sectors of the state simultaneously. The Solution train involves several capital projects on roads, schools, New markets and leisure. A major highlight of the Solution Agenda is the N2.4 billion Solution Fun City in Awka, aimed at promoting recreation in the state while providing an avenue for businesses.
