Close your eyes for a moment.
Picture the Nigeria your grandmother described, the one where a civil servant’s salary built a family home, where the naira stood tall against the world, where light came on when you flipped a switch and stayed on through the night. Where the roads took you somewhere. Where a degree was a door, not a decoration.
Now open your eyes.
This is not a eulogy. This is a rallying cry.
Because somewhere between the Nigeria that was promised and the Nigeria we inherited, millions of us made a quiet, painful decision. We stopped believing. We stopped showing up. We told ourselves that one person’s voice was too small, that the system was too broken, that hoping was the most dangerous thing a Nigerian could do.
But what if we were wrong?
What if the only thing standing between the Nigeria we suffer and the Nigeria we deserve is the one thing they have always been afraid of?
A United Nigeria, All of us. Together. At the same time.
The Rise Up Naija Movement

RUN is not like any other movement. It is a movement born out of necessity. It is a movement that taps into the age-old wisdom that believes in the power of Numbers.
RUN is a movement born of a powerful ideology. We believe that the power of the many can change Nigeria’s story.
The Rise Up Nigeria Movement was born of a single powerful conviction. That Nigeria can work for every Nigerian regardless of their class, location, and patriotism.
Nigeria can work for everybody, not just the high and mighty, everybody from the security man at Access Bank in Asaba to the Civil Servant living in Nyanya, Abuja.
Nigeria must work. And it will when we decide enough is enough.
Our Direction: What Are We Running From? What Are We Running Toward?

The RUN movement is anchored on the promise that Nigerians can RUN from every challenge holding them down. We believe Nigerians can run towards the right solutions and force the country in the right direction.
We RUN because we believe Nigeria can work.
We RUN because we are running away from bad governance and into accountability. Into leaders who can be questioned, challenged, and held to the promises they made in the light of day.
We RUN because we are running away from Stubborn blackouts. Hot nights and sweaty pillows. We run into stable electricity, promised to our fathers before we were born.
We RUN because we are running away from insecurity that has brought tears and anguish. Killed farmers and Northerners and have ruined the fun of road trips in Nigeria. We run towards a safe Nigeria because it is possible.
We RUN because we are fleeing from unemployment that has crippled our graduates and turned them into ghosts of themselves. We are running towards real opportunities for all hardworking Nigerians across the country.
RUN is for Everybody, This is Your Movement
RUN is for everybody. The Youth, the Middle Class, the Market Woman, the Tech Workers, Farmers, Lawyers, Northerners, and Southerners. Christians and Muslims. First-time voters and Veterans who have voted every single year and don’t want to give up on the country.
RUN is pro-new Nigeria, pro-women, pro-enterprise, pro-security, pro-dignity, pro-unity, and Pro- Nigeria of our dreams.
On the Mandate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), RUN is building an army of grassroots participants unheard of or unseen in the country before. The goal is not to be the new face of the system, but to replace the system with one that works for everybody.
A system that carries everyone along. The Vulnerable, the Weak, and the Down Trodden, A system that rewards competence and shuns corruption.
Take Action!
The Mother country, Nigeria, needs you.
Nigeria has been governed by bad actors for so long. They have taken advantage of your silence for so long. They have taken your silence for defeat and acceptance.
Rise Up Naija says: no more.
One nation. One future. Millions of voices. One direction.
RUN with hope.
RUN with purpose.
RUN because you can.
Let’s RUN because Nigeria does not need saving from the outside. It needs awakening from the inside.
Let’s Join Hands and RUN For a Nigeria That Works.
