The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, hailed Lagos-based Chef Hilda Baci on her latest Guinness World Record feat by cooking the biggest pot of Jollof Rice in the World.
Obi described the feat as an indicator of the talent domiciled in Nigeria and a perfect example of what Nigerians can achieve when passion, hard work, and opportunity are united

He stressed the need to invest in the talent of the average Nigerian Youth, support it, and open up opportunities to the youth in the country.
“There is no limit to what our nation can become,” Obi concluded
New Guinness World Record
Hilda Baci, a Lagos-based chef who previously broke a Guinness World Record for the longest hours cooking, completed a new record recently for cooking an 8,780-kilogram pot of jollof rice.
The event sponsored by Gino and held in Eko Hotels, Lagos, pulled over 4,000 people to the arena and was a success as the gigantic pot of rice was served to the masses after the cooking.
Speaking to newsmen, Baci explained the measurements behind the cooking and the necessary ingredients needed to cook that large quantity of rice.
Her measurements were accurate, as the representative of the Guinness World Records supervising the event confirmed the rice was tasty and was up to the required standards.
The Event lasted for about 12 hours and received local and global recognition.
Hilda Baci is a popular chef and food influencer based in Lagos, leveraging social media to teach and train thousands of Nigerian women with her self-styled recipes. Last Year, she organized a national training which saw over 20,000 signups.
