Rave of the moment, Odumodublack, fresh off the success of his Industry Machine album, is teaming up with Eastern music product and drill rapper, Jeriq, alongside upcoming artists to push the Eastern Machines concert across South East cities.
The regional music tour, which kicked off in Abraka, Delta, is coming to Enugu tomorrow, December 14th, at the Michael Okpara Square. The event is the first of a long list of events lined up for the Christmas season in Enugu and across South-East Nigeria.
The Eastern Machine is headlined by Odumodublack and Jeriq, with Aguero Banks, Knucks, Evado, Dre Ice, famous Pluto, Erigga, Peruzzi, and others joining as supporting artists. The event marks a strategic move by Odumodublack to expand into the fast-growing eastern music market, which aligns with his brand identity.
The decision to pair with Jeriq, a strong force in the eastern music market, is also a strategic one, as it opens up Odumodublack to the existing support base Jeriq enjoys, introducing him to a new market and diversifying his fan base.
The concert is sponsored by a host of prominent companies, highlighting a growing interest among corporate brands in sponsoring music concerts and events in the eastern region.

Sponsors for Eastern Machines Concert include Pepsi, Bet9ja, Jeriqhood, Iyoo Cartel, Def Jam Records, the Plug, etc. The south east witnessed a huge jump in the number of events held in the region this year.
Enugu and Owerri lead the charge for national events, hosting the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) AGM conference and the Imo Economic Summit, respectively. Both events attracted world leaders like the President of Liberia, the former President of Mauritius, the former Prime Minister of the UK, Boris Johnson, and prominent South African politician and EFF leader Julius Malema.
The development aligns with the vision of hospitality and leisure investor, Paul Onwanibe, who believes the south east can leverage MICE to develop its economy and drive urbanisation.
Eastern Machines concert follows previous headline music concerts in the south east this year, marking the coming of age of the industry in the region.
