In a fast-paced world filled with dopamine triggers and distractions, the art of reading a book is fast becoming a lost art. However, True believers, the faithful, still find time to read a book, adding to their knowledge bank and distancing themselves from other occupants of the Matrix.
Memoirs of an Otondo by Thankgod Egesimba promises a good read, paying tribute to the travails of the comical Nigerian Otondo, a term used to describe a fresh Youth Service corper.
The novel debuts at 11 am on November 22nd at the Seminar Hall of Archbishop Vining Memorial Church, Ikeja GRA, Lagos. The author is inviting brands, businesses, students, NYSC members/affiliates, the literary community, and anybody who is interested in an opportunity to partake in a positively enriching experience.
” Memoirs of an Otondo” is a bold, hilarious, and deeply emotional chronicle of one corper’s unforgettable journey through Nigeria’s National Youth Service Corps (NYSC),” Egesimba told INFOEAST, explaining the book in simple terms.
“If you’ve ever served, dreamed of serving, or simply love a story that entertains while tugging at your heart, ‘Memoirs of an Otondo’ is the book you’ve been waiting for,” He added.
