Marketsquare, a retail giant in Nigeria, owned by Sundry Foods Limited, completed a one-week-long free medical outreach targeting thousands of people in Aba.
The initiative, themed “Market Square Cares.” is part of the firm’s corporate social responsibility and hopes to leave an impact in the state through basic health care at no cost.
Emmanuel Patrick Isangediok, head of Marketing at SML, said the outreach aims to ensure that residents of Aba, where it operates, are healthy.
“Marketsquare recognizes the critical challenges in healthcare access within Nigerian society. As a responsible entity, we view this medical outreach as our contribution to bridging the gaps in healthcare delivery across the nation,” he stated.
Marketsquare organized the Aba Free medical outreach with Pro-Health International (PHI) and the Abia State Government.
