Highlife star Chinedu Okoli aka “Flavour” and other musicians worked the Anambra crowd during the official launch of the Solution Fun City in the capital city of Awka.
The Anambra Governor, Soludo, officially launched the arena on Saturday, June 28, after its official commissioning by President Bola Tinubu on May 8. The Arena, according to the governor, is to be used for recreational and commercial purposes and is on the list of the six capital projects that were completed with a recent N2.1 billion approved by the governor.
“After the formal commissioning by President Bola Tinubu, the Fun City is now officially open for business for people of all ages. The Governor said
“With the launch of Solution Fun City, which has a water park, leisure park and a world-class country club, Anambra State is poised to establish itself further as a leading destination for arts and entertainment in Nigeria, creating lasting memories for visitors and residents alike. He added.
The governor expressed optimism on the business future of the project, stating that it adds to the recreational value of Anambra and Nigeria as a whole. The Governor’s speech was followed by a trademark performance by Flavour, who worked the crowd and thrilled the thousands of fans present at the event.

Flavour’s performance was complemented by live acts from Umu Obiligbo, Jennifer Eliogu and other talented south-east-based artists. Business Mogul Chief Emeka Offor, the state’s deputy governor and many socialites graced the event.
The Solution Fun City is a self-branded initiative by the Governor to light up Anambra’s recreational sector as well as provide business opportunities and youth employment solutions. The recreational centre running in billions gulped a significant chunk of the state’s budget, attracting criticisms from Nigerians who felt that such funds should not be going to recreational projects.
