Fast-rising music act Emmanuel Njoku, aka Evado, has dropped his debut album, a sixteen-track album featuring a mix of eastern talents across various genres.
The album is Evado’s first complete body of work after a string of hit singles and collaborations that brought him to the front page of New Generation Southeast Music.
” This project is more than music to me… It’s my story, my struggles, my growth, and everything I’ve been becoming. Every track carries a piece of my journey. I’ve been waiting for this moment, and I’m proud to finally share it with you all.” Evado shared on X.
“Go run it up, stream it, feel it, live with it. Welcome to the Promise Land,” He added.

The 16-track album is a run-up of fresh music from the Ebonyi-born music artist. Key collaborations on the Album include songs with Phyno, Jeriq, Zoro, Hugo P and Dandizzy.
11 out of the 16 tracks on the album were produced by Enaps, a fast-rising producer in the industry. Evado rose to prominence in the eastern music scene following the success of his collaboration with Kolaboy. The duo dropped “Oga Eme” which shook the scene and made massive waves.
He is perceived by his fans as a singer for his masterful delivery of hooks (Choruses). This skill has earned him many collaborations and fans. The new album gives him room to explore his versatility and range.
The new album is also a litmus test for Evado. It evaluates his proposed transition from an “in the moment” artist to an established musical icon.
Promiseland Album Hits 1 million Streams in 12 hours
Evado Lee’s Promiseland Album hit 1 million streams in 12 hours, a personal record for the artist. The Debut Album features tracks with other fast-rising artists from the Eastern Region across various music genres.
Evado’s 1 million hits signify progress for the digital music business in today’s day and age. The eastern region has repeatedly been underrepresented in numbers due to the absence of a data centre. Streams from the five eastern states are often attributed to Port Harcourt and Lagos in extreme cases.
This undermines the music industry in the region, as artists perceive the Southeast as a low-return market and focus their attention on other states. Evado’s 1 million hits on Spotify marks a new era for the digital side of the music business in the East.
