This article on Dstv’s Padi Channels list in 2026 looks at the various channels available in the Dstv Padi Bouquet. Dstv Padi is one of the cheapest cable TV subscription packages, alongside budget-friendly bouquets like Dstv Confam and Dstv Yanga. These packages were created to cater to low-income earners who cannot afford high monthly cable TV subscription fees.

The decision to launch a budget-friendly bouquet by Multichoice, the parent company of DSTV, stems from the company’s struggle to acquire new subscribers and retain existing ones.

Multichoice reported a loss of 1.2 million subscribers in 2025, representing an 8% decline in its active linear broadcast subscriber base. The company lost 600,000 subscribers in Southafrica and another 600,000 across Africa. A combination of unemployment, macroeconomic pressure and a shift to streaming services is responsible for this drop.

In light of this new reality, Multichoice is taking its affordability project seriously as it remains the lifeline to keeping the business afloat.

The three cheapest DSTV subscription packages are Dstv Confam, DSTV Yanga and DSTV Padi

    • Dstv Confam N11,000
    • DSTV Yanga N6,000
    • DSTV Padi N4,400

In previous articles, we have addressed DSTV Confam and Dstv Yanga. In this article, we are addressing the DSTV Padi, the cheapest subscription package on DSTV.
