This tariff plan is very popular in Nigeria, and it’s mostly used by people who prioritize calls and text messages or do a lot of that in their daily business.

Core Benefits of MTN Beta Talk

    • Recharge Bonus: You get a 250% airtime bonus on every recharge of ₦100 and above. For example, if you recharge ₦100, you get ₦250 extra, bringing your total balance to ₦350.

    • Call Rates: Calls are charged at a flat rate of ₦18.90/min from your main account to all local networks. Note that the first minute of the day is often charged at a higher rate (around ₦42).

    Cons of MTN Beta Talk

    • Bonus Validity: Airtime bonuses usually expire after 7 days.
    • No International Calls: Bonus airtime can be used for local calls and SMS to all networks in Nigeria, but it cannot be used for international calls or for transferring airtime to others.
