Awka, Nigeria – November 23, 2025 – Benneth Nwankwo, the founder of BN Media Films, has announced a strategic partnership with Patmos Studios amidst 3,789 candidates auditioning for a role in the studio’s next project, Sure Banker.

In what has been described as one of the largest open-call turnouts for an independent production in recent years, BN Media Films has confirmed that 3,789 hopefuls submitted audition entries for its forthcoming Nigerian web series, Sure Banker.

The project, which examines the growing influence of betting addiction across Nigerian society, is already attracting widespread attention. Sure Banker is set around a bustling betting shop where hundreds of customers try their luck daily. The series follows multiple storylines featuring families, workers, and everyday individuals whose lives are shaped, positively or negatively, by their relationship with betting. Industry observers say the premise taps into a timely national conversation about gambling and its social impact.

Previously, in a development expected to enhance production quality and reach, BN Media Films has also announced a strategic partnership with Patmos Studios, a Nigerian-based film and video production company.

BN Media Films, which has built a growing portfolio with titles such as Like Filtered Water, Class of Secrets, Breakout, and Not Perfect Date, says the turnout for Sure Banker reflects increasing confidence in its brand and the relevance of the stories it chooses to tell.

Production is expected to begin in Awka in December 2025, with casting announcements set to follow in the coming weeks
