The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Anambra State launched a grassroots campaign strategy ahead of the November Guber polls, boosting Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, the party’s candidate, Chances.
Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu unveiled the new strategy at the APC secretariat while inaugurating 52 support groups drawn from the 21 local governments in Anambra state. He stressed that the campaign will feature high voter engagement and local mobilisation geared at leaving an impact on the 326 wards and 5,720 polling units in Anambra.
Our strategy begins at the LGA level and cascades down to every polling unit. Victory at the grassroots is key to winning the state,” he said. “Don’t just give me a strategy to win the state—give me a strategy to win your polling units and wards. If we succeed there, the state is ours.”
Mr Ukachukwu urged all party members to assume leadership roles in their various communities, taking up the mantle of campaign directors in their various spaces. He stated that President Tinubu was solidly behind the campaign efforts and urged them to take over the state for the APC.

Labour Party Faction Aligns with the APC Camp
In an astonishing manner, a faction of the Labour Party in the state, led by Mr. Fabian Ozigbo, former Head of Logistics for the Labour Party (LP), attended the event, officially endorsing the APC candidate.
“I am delighted to align with Evangelist Ukachukwu and the APC because I believe they offer a credible vision and real solutions for the future of Anambra State,” Ozigbo said.
The Labour party in the state and nationwide have been marred by Internal crisis, as defections to the ruling party boost Ukachukwu’s chances.
