The organising committee of the Enugu Tech Festival (ETF) held a Pre-conference visit to Enugu State University College of Nursing (ESUCON), seizing the opportunity to create awareness and promote the upcoming Enugu Tech Festival slated for 2026.
The pre-conference rally, which serves as a source of awareness and preparation for the main event, includes the ETF team visiting universities to hold a mini conference about the Tech festival, billed to become the biggest in Africa.
” Yesterday, we took the gospel of ETF to the Enugu State University College of Nursing (ESUCON), where we spent the day engaging with the future healthcare leaders and introducing them to the vision behind the Enugu Tech Festival 2026.” The ETF team shared on LinkedIn.
The pre-conference visit to ESUCON commenced with a courtesy visit to the acting provost, Dr Peace Ani, who welcomed the team, supported them, and encouraged the students to plug into the opportunities ETF presents.
The ETF proceeded to engage the students, initiating a range of activities, including interactive games, exciting giveaways, and insightful sessions. The event, themed ” The Future of Tech and How to Be Positioned,” harped on opportunities in the Tech field and how to position oneself for it.
The pre-conference visit held at a School of Nursing serves as a reminder to all involved that Technology is a multidisciplinary event accommodating doctors, Nurses, Engineers, and other health practitioners.
The Enugu Tech Festival is expected to host over 50,000 attendees, comprising builders, marketers, investors, media personnel, and tech enthusiasts. The maiden edition held this year was a huge success and was graced by Peter Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State.
Enugu is becoming a hub for national, regional, and continental events, leveraging its calm and green cities to welcome outsiders. The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) held its Annual General Meeting, attracting over 20,000 lawyers to the state.
The event is a perfect example of a MICE event as envisioned by Landmark Africa CEO Paul Onwuanibe as a potential driver of revenue for the state.
