The development was announced by Heathrow News, the official news platform of the United Kingdom’s foremost airport, Heathrow, welcoming the Air Peace fleet to Terminal 3. The flight service would provide world-class air travel connecting the UK to West Africa aboard a Boeing 777.
Heathrow congratulated Air Peace for expanding its UK operations, while looking forward to welcoming the first flight of the new route.

The announcement of a direct flight from Abuja to Heathrow, London, is a significant milestone in the airline’s history. The Abuja-London direct flights would start from N1 million for round-trip fares, making Air Peace the first Nigerian carrier to connect Abuja to London’s major airports.
Nigerian Passengers from cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, and Kano can book throughfares via Abuja, simplifying travel. The airline also plans to begin flight routes to India and Israel by year-end.
Air Peace’s rapid expansion is supported by its Boeing 777s, a product of interline agreements with Emirates and Hahn Air, enhancing connectivity.
Despite past challenges, Air Peace’s international growth, including a historic Abuja-St. Kitt’s flight highlights its massive role in decentralizing African air travel and opening up the continent to other parts of the world.
