The Presidential Media Team and the Renewed Hope Initiative Team have visited Enugu State to inspect key projects being carried out by the administration of Governor Peter Mbah.
The visit was disclosed by the Secretary to the State Government, Chidiebere Onyia, in a post on his X page, in which he described the engagement as an opportunity to showcase the progress recorded across various sectors of the state.
During the tour, the delegation was taken to several projects covering infrastructure, education, and healthcare.
The projects were presented as part of efforts to demonstrate the impact of the state government’s development programmes on residents and the economy.
According to Onyia, the ongoing investments are helping to improve road and transport connectivity, create better learning environments in schools, expand access to healthcare services, and support economic activities across the state.
He said the Enugu State Government was pleased to host the visiting teams. The state is open to providing them with firsthand information on the projects being executed under Governor Mbah’s leadership.
The SSG also expressed appreciation for the support and confidence shown by the Presidential Media Team. He thanked the Renewed Hope Initiative Team for their interest in the state’s development plans.
He added that the government remains committed to continuing its Development agenda. The government is also open to delivering projects designed to improve residents’ welfare and drive growth across Enugu State.
The national Renewed Hope Media Tour is currently underway in the Southeast. The team was in Ebonyi State on Saturday. There they inspected and documented several projects initiated by the Bola Tinubu Administration.
The National Media tour is part of Tinubu’s campaign drive for the 2027 presidential election. The Renewed Hope Team has visited two out of the three APC states in the southeast. Imo state is likely the next stop.
The APC has gained a foothold in the southeast region despite its unpopularity among southeasterners. The party has gained a foothold in Imo State, Ebonyi State, and Enugu State. It achieved this through defections by the governors of those states.
