Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru told his critics that his administration completed at least five landmark projects in every local government in the state.
The governor said this while addressing delegates at the Renewed Hope National Media Tour, which kicked off its Southeast Edition on Saturday, with Ebonyi State as the first state on the tour.
“We are happy to welcome this delegation because it will afford us the opportunity to showcase what we have been able to achieve,” Nwifuru said
” What you are going to see in the LGAs will shock you, while some will be very disappointed, but all I appeal to you is to judge us fairly.”
“I have pleaded with the leaders of the delegation to be patient with us because we are going to take you to almost all the LGAs to see for yourself many of the projects we have executed.
“We have executed a minimum of five projects in each of the LGAs in the state. We will take you to every corner,” he noted.
Nwifuru Assures Delegates of Safety
The Ebonyi governor assured the delegates of their safety, stating that Ebonyi is the safest state in the Southeast.
“Feel free to visit every corner because Ebonyi is the safest state in the country. Go about your inspection without fear of anything,” he assured them.
The renewed Hope Media delegates, led by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, thanked Nwifuru for his hospitality and showered him with encomiums.
The renewed hope media tour aims to publicise and document every project and initiative of President Bola Tinubu across all the states in Nigeria. The southeast tour started yesterday with Ebonyi State. Imo State, Anambra State, Enugu State, and Abia State are lined up next for exploration by the delegates.
