RAD5 Tech hub, a foremost tech incubation ecosystem based in Aba, has announced the prospective launch of a six-month RAD5 TechX Bootcamp, promising applicants full tech scholarships and laptops.

The bootcamp, supported by new partnerships, RAD5 aims to select passionate and committed individuals aged 16 to 35 and empower them with a fully funded scholarship and gadgets to maximise output.

” This opportunity is for people who are ready to commit to a 6-month rigorous journey through the RAD5 TechX Bootcamp, one of the most intensive tech bootcamps in the region.” Igwe Uguru, the Co-Founder of RAD5 Tech Hub, shared on Facebook.

” This is not just about learning tech. It’s about becoming problem solvers. It’s about raising technology entrepreneurs who use tech to solve real problems in the real world.” Uguru added.

The Managing Director of RAD5 reiterated his commitment to drive innovation across Abia state and beyond by investing in talent and giving them the room to solve real-world problems. He described talent as the foundation on which innovation is built and remains a core mission for RAD5 Tech Hub.

Uguru revealed that the tech hub has other programs lined up for the year as it continues to maximise the benefits of its strategic partnerships.

” As the year unfolds, we will continue to unveil key programs designed to enable entrepreneurship and drive innovation in Abia State, the South East, and across Nigeria,” Uguru said.

Rad5 Driving Tech Innovation through Partnerships

The RAD5 Tech Hub is an indigenous tech ecosystem in Aba, Abia State, credited with identifying, training, and building technological solutions to real-world problems.

Over the years, RAD5 has partnered with both foreign and local entities to expand its offer and reach in the region.

Last year, RAD5 proudly served as a strategic learning partner of the Federal Government’s 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) initiative. NITDA and the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy championed this.

RAD5 also partnered with NITDA and the Office for Nigerian Digital Innovation (ONDI) on the iHatch Incubation Program, supporting early-stage founders with resources, mentorship, and access to networks.

At the time of the report, RAD5 had not provided further details about the application process for the RAD5 TechX Bootcamp.
