    The Alex Otti administration has approved the appointment of Prof Ndubuisi Ekekwe as the chairman of the Abia State Technological Skills Acquisition centre, alongside other members of the team earmarked to manage the new centre.

    In a public service announcement, Prof Kenneth Kalu, Secretary to the State Government, announced the new team appointed by the executive Governor of the state, Dr Alex Otti.

    ” The Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has approved the appointment of the following persons into the Abia State Technological Skills Acquisition Center.” The statement read in parts.

    • Eng. Cletus Ogbonnaya Ekpo – Vice Chairman
    • Eng. Peter Ukonu – Director General
    • Mr. Gerald Ilukwe – Member
    • Mr. Chinenye Mba Uzoukwu – Member
    • Mr. Fidelis Nwaeze – Member
    • Dr. Christopher Kalu Okorie – Member
    • Mr. Chukwudi Ogbonna – Member
    • Dr. Mrs. Rita Ndidi Amuchienwa – Member

    Ndubuisi Ekekwe, a celebrated academic, Investor, and Business startup advocate, hails from Ovim in Abia State, and up till his new appointment has remained a thought leader in Nigeria’s startup scene through Tekedia Capital, a Venture Capital firm he manages.

    ” To the Good People of Abia State, thank you for another opportunity to serve. To our dear Governor, Dr Alex Otti, we understand your vision, and together, we will work to provide skills and capabilities to ensure Abians are ready for the 21st century.” Ekekwe stated on X, accepting his new role.

    He added that the technology of nations is the wealth of Nations, and Abia state will use Technological exploits to advance shared prosperity and abundance for all. Speaking on behalf of the new appointees, Ekekwe pledged total commitment from his new team, pledging to uphold the state’s motto, “Prosperity through enterprise.”

    Ndubuisi Ekekwe is a celebrated Academic who doubles as a technology and educational influencer in Nigeria’s internet space.

    He has backed and supported key ventures of some top Nigerian startups in the country’s tech scene, serving as a community leader in the nation’s tech ecosystem.
